Thursday 22nd September 2011 Cross Keys Public House

The pub was built on the furthest point of the Exhall boarder. There is a 60 year gap in the pub’s history, which is strange. The pub was also an Inn, with stables and patrons can remember the pub still having the old feeding troughs for the horses.

Ghost Hunters Agency (UK) has been asked to investigate the Cross Keys Public House, as activity has been witnessed by staffs, who work at the pub. The Activity witnessed has ranged from spirits been seen and sensed, to a clock situated in the main bar, high on the wall, falling for no reason.

• 00:35: Safety brief given by Paul Team leader.
• 01:15: Active EVP session commenced – Refrigerator noise evident in background. EVP evidence has been identified and is being analysed and will be published on the site as soon as possible.
• 01:26: Active EVP session concluded.
• 01:27: Jay conducted a room temperature check. The room temperature did fluctuate and the possible cause of this could be a patio door that connected to the rear bar, which does not close properly.
• 01:34: check of experiment table showed that plastic cup had moved approximately 1mm to the right. Paul resets and photographs experiment table.
• 01:40: Active EVP session in main bar – cooler generator running. 2.40 into session Paul made noise, 5.05 into session Jay moved.
• 01:51: Active EVP session concludes.
• 01:52: check of experimental table showed no movement.
• 01:55: Paul runs a ‘Table Tipping’ experiment to generate some spiritual activity. All participants only had their fingertips placed on the table and their feet did not interfere with the table in any way.
• 02:02: Jay made reference to the presence of a child during the table tipping experiment.
• 02:05: Commenced recording of the ‘Table Tipping’ experiment on night shot camera.
• 02:17: ‘Table Tipping’ experiment concluded and ceased the recording on camera.
• 02:20: Paul commenced some mediumship – Paul made contact with a spirit that was known to some of those present. The information Paul has recorded has been verified and Paul will publish these findings on the site in due course.
• 03:59: Vigil and investigation concluded.




Conclusion

Ghost Hunters Agency (UK) have concluded that there is spiritual activity at the Cross Keys public House. This is the first time that this location has been investigated and Ghost Hunters Agency (UK), also concludes that the location does need a further investigation as the upper floors were not investigated at this time. Evidence has been obtained from this investigation of spiritual activity and is currently undergoing analysis and will be published on the web site, together with some video footage and photographs from the investigation in due course.
